FAQ
Our goal is simple: to offer exceptional vintage guitars with maximum transparency, zero unnecessary
fees, and total peace of mind for both buyers and sellers. Below you’ll find detailed answers to the most
common questions, organized by category
General Inquiries (Payments / Shipping / Returns / Refunds)
After you contact us to request the current price of a guitar, we typically issue a formal invoice.
The invoice includes all necessary information, such as:
Guitar description and specifications
Agreed purchase price
Seller (owner) details
Payment instructions
Shipping, insurance, and delivery terms
Inspection and return conditions
Once the invoice is confirmed, payment is made according to the agreed structure — most commonly directly to the guitar owner’s bank account. This approach eliminates third-party platform commissions, hidden fees, and unnecessary taxes often added by large marketplaces.
Every transaction is supported by:
Verified seller identity
Documented ownership
Written agreements with the owner
Full traceability of the instrument and shipment
We ship worldwide using trusted express carriers. Most orders are shipped within 24–72 hours after payment confirmation.
Absolutely. Every shipment includes: – Full insurance coverage (up to the instrument’s value) – Tracking number provided immediately after dispatch – Secure, professional guitar packaging
We offer a 30‑day inspection period from the day you receive the guitar.
- If the guitar is not as described or does not meet your expectations, you may return it.
- Return shipping costs are on us.
- Once the guitar is received back in its original condition, a full refund is issued.
This policy exists because we are confident in what we sell.
Yes. Refunds are issued promptly after the returned instrument passes inspection, using the same payment channel as the original transaction.
Buying Inquiries
Vintage guitars are subject to constant market fluctuations based on condition, originality, demand, and recent private sales.
For this reason, prices are intentionally not displayed publicly.
This approach allows us to:
Keep pricing accurate and current
Protect sellers from outdated or misinterpreted values
Offer buyers fair, market-aligned pricing at the time of inquiry
To receive the current price, simply contact us directly. We respond quickly and transparently.
This situation is extremely rare, but we understand that buyers want absolute clarity before proceeding.
Although returns are uncommon due to our thorough inspection, documentation, and pre-sale communication, every transaction is still fully protected by us.
Here’s how it works:
Every sale is governed by a written agreement signed by the owner before the guitar is listed.
This agreement legally binds the owner to honor our 30-day inspection & return policy.
If a return is requested within the inspection period, we handle and coordinate the entire process.
Once the guitar is safely returned and inspected, the owner issues the refund directly, without delay.
Even in this unlikely scenario, you are never left to negotiate or follow up alone , we remain your single point of contact throughout the process.
We understand that some buyers feel more comfortable sending funds to us.
In specific cases, we can:
Act as a temporary escrow facilitator, or
Receive the funds and release them to the owner only after delivery confirmation
This option may depend on the guitar, location, and transaction value, but we are always happy to discuss the safest structure for your purchase.
Our priority is simple: your confidence and protection come first.
Our model is designed to:
Reduce unnecessary payment fees
Avoid third-party payment holds
Ensure sellers are paid transparently and efficiently
That said, flexibility is part of our service. If you prefer an intermediary structure, just let us know, we’ll adapt
Selling Inquiries
Yes. You can either:
Sell your guitar directly to us, or
Place it under consignment (our most common option)
Because we:
Eliminate high platform commissions and payment fees
Avoid unnecessary taxes and listing costs
Invest heavily in targeted advertising, collaborations, and private collectors
Offer a more personal, curated selling experience
Yes. Under consignment, you remain the legal owner until the guitar is sold.
Once a buyer is confirmed, the buyer wires payment directly to your bank account. There are no payment delays or third-party holds.
Consignment Inquiries
Consignment means you entrust us with selling your guitar on your behalf. Over 75% of the guitars we physically hold are under consignment.
Your guitar will be kept in:
One of our secure store departments, or
A trusted partner showroom or warehouse
All locations are climate-controlled and insured.
Our compensation is structured to be reasonable, transparent, and aligned with the value we create.
Instead of high marketplace commissions, we apply a pre-agreed consignment service fee that is competitive and often lower than major platforms once hidden fees are considered.
This fee covers:
Expert inspection and authentication
Professional photography and content creation
Targeted advertising and collector outreach
Secure storage and insurance
Buyer screening, negotiation, and transaction management
All fees are discussed and agreed upon before consignment begins, no surprises, no hidden costs.
No. All fees are transparent and agreed upon in advance.
You remain in full control. You may:
Adjust the price
Extend the consignment period
Request the return of your guitar at any time
Yes. All consigned instruments are fully insured while stored and during shipping.
Trust & Transparency
Because we operate on three core principles:
Transparency – no hidden fees, no vague descriptions
Expertise – every guitar is inspected by professionals
Confidence – 30-day inspection, insured shipping, and buyer-friendly policies
We are not a marketplace. We are a curated vintage guitar house built on trust, expertise, and long-term relationships.
If you have additional questions, feel free to contact us directly. We believe buying or selling a vintage guitar should feel as good as playing one.
