Fender Slab Board Stratocaster 1960 Candy Apple Red Refin
For your consideration we are offering up this amazing 1960 Slab Board Stratocaster refinished in beautiful Candy Apple Red by renown builder Joe Riggio at Riggio Custom Guitars in Tacoma WA with correct gold under coat. It was refinished for a gentlemen who worked for Pearl Jam. The guitar was originally brought to Joe in a Natural finish but otherwise in all original condition. The finish has been lightly aged to match the patina of the rest of the original equipment. All components are original to the guitar including 3 way switch. There was a 2nd string tree at one point which has since been filled. The pot codes date to ’59 indicating this is a very early 1960 model year guitar. Like all early ’60 slab strats there is no pencil date. The frets appear to be original and play excellent! There is one small crack coming off the low E tuner please see photos. The guitar ships in a period correct re issue brown telex fender case.

Full traceability of the instrument and shipment
We offer a 30‑day inspection period from the day you receive the guitar.
