pasted gibson collectors choice #24 nicky true historic spec w ohsc

For your consideration we are offering up this killer 1965 J-160E

The guitar is original aside from added Grover Tuning Machines. One of the great aspects of this guitar is it sports the transitional 1 5/8″ Nut width as opposed to the later ’65 narrow 1 9/16″ width. The original finish has lots of checking through out oozing mojo. No cracks or repairs aside from 2 small hairline cracks on the lower bout of the back which have been glued and do not open, Classy factory stinger headstock is always a house favorite. Frets are in seemingly good shape, play well with no dead spots and nice medium-low action. The tone is killer and this guitar has opened up exceptionally well over the years. It wants to be played! If you are looking for a collectible investment you can take out and play onstage this is the ideal opportunity.

This is a phenomenal guitar at a great price. This is one of the last great era J-160E’s and it does not disappoint.

Most common FAQ

How do payments work?

After you contact us to request the current price of a guitar, we typically issue a formal invoice.
The invoice includes all necessary information, such as:

  • Guitar description and specifications

  • Agreed purchase price

  • Seller (owner) details

  • Payment instructions

  • Shipping, insurance, and delivery terms

  • Inspection and return conditions

Once the invoice is confirmed, payment is made according to the agreed structure — most commonly directly to the guitar owner’s bank account. This approach eliminates third-party platform commissions, hidden fees, and unnecessary taxes often added by large marketplaces.

Every transaction is supported by:

  • Verified seller identity

  • Documented ownership

  • Written agreements with the owner

  • Full traceability of the instrument and shipment

What is your return policy?

We offer a 30‑day inspection period from the day you receive the guitar.

  • If the guitar is not as described or does not meet your expectations, you may return it.
  • Return shipping costs are on us.
  • Once the guitar is received back in its original condition, a full refund is issued.
This policy exists because we are confident in what we sell.
Why should I trust your platform?

Because we operate on three core principles:

  1. Transparency : no hidden fees, no vague descriptions

  2. Expertise : every guitar is inspected by professionals

  3. Confidence : 30-day inspection, insured shipping, and buyer-friendly policies

We are not a marketplace. We are a curated vintage guitar house built on trust, expertise, and long-term relationships.

If you have additional questions, feel free to contact us directly. We believe buying or selling a vintage guitar should feel as good as playing one.
